Luca Della Robbia

Della Robbia, Luca (1399?–1482), Italian Renaissance sculptor and ceramicist known for his glazed terra cottas. His works include the Cantoria (1431–38), 10 panels in relief sculpture depicting children with musical instruments; and Madonna and Child. His nephew Andrea and Andrea's sons Luca II, Giovanni, and Girolama continued Della Robbia's work.
