Electrochemistry
Electrochemistry, branch of physical chemistry dealing with the effect of electricity on chemical charge and the interconversion of electrical and chemical energy. To produce electrochemical reactions, 2 electrodes or conductors are placed in liquid medium or electrolyte, producing an environment allowing the free flow of electrons.
