English foxhound

English foxhound, breed of hound dog with a short, glossy coat, bred to follow the scent left by a fox. They are white with black or tan patches, stand 23 in (58 cm), on average, at the shoulder, and weigh 60 to 75 lb (27 to 34 kg).
