Esau

Esau, or Edom, in the Bible (book of Genesis), son of Isaac and Rebecca, elder twin brother of Jacob. Esau was tricked by Jacob into selling his birthright. Esau's descendants, the Edomites, were consistently hostile to the Israelites, descendants of Jacob.
