Book of Ezekiel
Ezekiel, Book of, book of the Old Testament of the Bible, named after the early 6th-century B.C. Hebrew priest and prophet. The book prophesizes disastrous consequences for the people of Jerusalem because of their sinful lives. Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Isaiah are considered the major interpreters of the Babylonian Exile, the era following the Babylonian conquest of Palestine (587–586 B.C.).
