Douglas Fairbanks Sr.
Fairbanks, Douglas, Sr. (1883–1939), U.S. film actor famous for his romantic and swashbuckling roles in films such as Robin Hood (1922) and The Black Pirate (1926). In 1919 he founded United Artists Studio with his wife Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, and D.W. Griffith.
