W.C. Fields
Fields, W.C. (William Claude Dukenfield; 1880–1946), U.S. comedian and actor who often played a cantankerous, drunken, witty misogynist and child-hater. His movies include It's a Gift (1934), My Little Chickadee (1940), and the classic farce, The Bank Dick (1940), which he wrote.
