Gabriel

Gabriel, archangel in the Bible and the Koran. In St. Luke's gospel, Gabriel, meaning man of God in Hebrew, appeared to Zacharias, to Daniel, and then announced to Mary that she had conceived Jesus. In the Koran, Gabriel is the medium of revelation to Muhammad.
