Gemini missions



Gemini missions, series of American orbital space flights using the 2-person Gemini capsule. Gemini 3 was launched by the 2-stage Titan 2 rocket on Mar. 23, 1965. The Gemini 4 mission in June 1965 lasted 97 hrs and 56 mins, carrying astronauts James A. McDivitt and Edward H. White II; White walked in space for over 20 min. The last mission, Gemini 12, was in Nov. 1966.
