Red Grange



Grange, Red (1930–91), U.S. football player. He was known as the Galloping Ghost after scoring 5 touchdowns for the University of Illinois in a game against the University of Michigan in 1924. Grange became a professional player in 1925 and joined the Chicago Bears. He retired in 1935 after scoring 1,058 points and in 1963 was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
