Frank Hague
Hague, Frank (1876–1956), U.S. politician, mayor of Jersey City, N.J., for 30 years, and controller of one of the United State's most powerful political machines. Following accusations of financial irregularities in city financial affairs, his power began to decline. He was voted out of office by a reform movement.
