Lyman Hall
Hall, Lyman (1724–90), American Revolutionary leader. Educated at Yale College, he became a doctor and settled in Georgia. He served as a delegate to the Continental Congress (1775–80) and signed the Declaration of Independence. In 1783 he was elected governor of Georgia.
