Handball

Handball, court game played by 2 to 4 people. There are 2 versions of the game: 1-wall handball and 4-wall handball. Players attempt to hit a hard rubber ball against 1 or more of the walls in such a fashion as to prevent opponents from returning it before it bounces twice on the floor. Handball may be one of the world's oldest games, dating back to ancient Egypt. The modern version was probably invented in the Basque country of northern Spain.
