John Hart

Hart, John (1711?–79), American Revolutionary leader. He served in the New Jersey Assembly (1761–71) and as speaker of the N.J. General Assembly (1776). He was a delegate to the Continental Congress (1776) and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
