Hartebeest

Hartebeest, large antelope (genus Alcelaphus) with a long and narrow head and lyre-shaped horns. Hartebeest used to live all over Africa and are still common in many places. Related to the gnu, they are very fast runners, perhaps second in speed only to the cheetah.
