Isaac Thomas Hecker

Hecker, Isaac Thomas (1819–88), U.S. Roman Catholic priest, founder in 1858 of the Paulist Fathers, an order dedicated to the conversion of U.S. non-Catholics. Hecker also established the magazine Catholic World and the Catholic Publication Society.
