Ales Hrdlicka

Hrdlicka, Ales (1869–1943), Bohemian-born U.S. physical anthropologist. He expounded the generally accepted theory that the Amerinds (Native Americans or Eskimos) are of Asiatic origin. Among his works are Old Americans (1925) and Alaska Diary 1926–1931 (1943).
