Huntington's disease

Huntington's disease (Huntington's chorea), disease marked by progressive degeneration of the central nervous system. An inherited, ultimately fatal disease that breaks out in adulthood, its symptoms are involuntary, jerky body movements and mental disturbances. It was first identified in 1871 by the American neurologist Dr. George Huntington.
