Louis Isadore Kahn



Kahn, Louis Isadore (1901–74), U.S. architect, noted for his work on housing projects like Carver Court (1944), Coatesville, Pa., and university buildings. His work also included the planning of the Kimbell Art Museum (Fort Worth, Tex.), and the Yale University Art Gallery. Kahn held a professorship at the University of Pennsylvania from 1957 until his death.
