Kale



Kale, edible green vegetable (Brassica oleracea) of the mustard family. Valued as a source of vitamins A, B-complex, and C, kale's curled leaves are usually boiled or steamed before eating. Plants may attain heights of 24 to 30 in (61 to 76 cm), while dwarf varieties range from 12 to 15 in (30 to 38 cm).
