Garrison Edward Keillor

Keillor, Garrison Edward (1942– ), U.S. writer, creator of the fictional town of Lake Wobegon, Minnesota. Keillor has told stories about the town on his radio program A Prairie Home Companion (1974–87, 1989– ) and in New Yorker magazine articles. His books include Happy to Be Here (1982), Lake Wobegon Days (1985), Leaving Home (1987), We Are Still Married (1989), WLT:A Radio Romance (1991), and The Book of Guys (1993).
