Keneally, Thomas (1935– ), Australian writer, known for his powerful and turbulent novels, which often take place in a particular historical period. His works include The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith (1972), Schindler's List (1982), Jacko: the Great Intruder (1993), River Town (1995), and Homebush Boy (1995).
