Key West

Key West (pop. 24,382), city on an island at the southwestern tip of the Florida Keys, about 150 mi (240 km) from Miami and 90 mi (145 km) from Cuba. Key West, the southernmost point of the continental United States, is a fishing and vacation center and has long been considered a dwelling for artists.
