Kinesics
Kinesics, systematic study of nonverbal communication through body motions. Developed by Ray L. Birdwhistell, an American anthropologist, kinesics examines gestures such as winking, or eyebrow raising, as well as involuntary reactions like blushing, in an effort to interpret the feelings and messages being relayed through such gestures.
