Karl King



King, Karl (1891–1971), U.S. composer and conductor of musical bands, creator of more than 300 musical works, 200 of which were marches. King composed most of his pieces with the circus in mind. His “Barnum and Bailey's Favorite” (1913) became the theme song of the circus of that name.
