Books of Kings

Kings, Books of, in the Old Testament, called First and Second Kings in the Authorized Version, and Third and Fourth Kings in the Greek versions and the Western canon. They cover Israelite history from the reign of Solomon through the period of the 2 kingdoms of Israel and Judah to the destruction of Judah by the Babylonians.
