Kings Canyon National Park
Kings Canyon National Park, area of about 460,100 acres (186,200 hectares) in the Sierra Nevada, south central California, established as a national park in 1940. Two immense canyons are formed by the Kings River. The park features snow-covered peaks, rich wildlife, and sequoia trees.
