Lake Lugano

Lake Lugano, lake on the border between Switzerland and Italy. It is located east of Lake Maggiore at the southern foot of the Alps. It is connected to Lake Maggiore by the Tresa River. It is 20 m (32km) in length and 2 m (3 km) wide.
