Wilhelm Lehmbruck
Lehmbruck, Wilhelm (1881–1919), German sculptor noted for his images of pathos and heroism of spirit. Influenced by Rodin, Brancusi, and Maillol, he depicted his human subjects as ascetic, angular figures, such as Standing Woman (1910) and Kneeling Woman (1911).
