Lyrebird

Lyrebird, either of 2 species of Australian birds (genus Menura) of the family menuridae. The male has very long tail feathers he displays, shaped like a lyre, during courtship. Similar in appearance to chickens, lyrebirds nest on the ground and do not fly.
