Mbabane
Mbabane (pop. 38,600), town, administrative capital of Swaziland. Founded as a mining camp in a mountainous region of the former British colony, Mbabane is the center of a prosperous tin mining and agricultural region. Most of the city's residents are Swazi, a Bantu-speaking people of southern Africa, but English is also widely spoken there.
