Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine, generic name of a powerful drug that is a derivate of and similar to amphetamine. Also known as “speed,” methamphetamine enables a user to work and talk for long periods. Legally obtainable only with a doctor's prescription, methamphetamine can be hazardous if misused. Withdrawal symptoms may occur when use is stopped.
