László Moholy-Nagy
Moholy-Nagy, László (1895–1946), Hungarian painter, designer, and member of the German Constructivist school. He was professor at the Bauhaus, 1923–28. He founded the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1939 and was an important influence on U.S. industrial design.
