Mosquito Coast

Mosquito Coast, coastal landstrip in Nicaragua and Honduras, along the Caribbean Sea. It begins at the San Juan River on the eastern coast of Nicaragua and continues to the Aguan River on the northeastern coast of Honduras, it is about 40 mi (65 km) wide and 200 mi (320 km) long and is named after the indigenous Mosquito tribe.
