Mount Olympus
Mount Olympus, highest mountain in Greece. It rises 9,570 ft (2,917 m) at the east end of a 25-mi (50-km) range along the Thessaly-Macedonia border. The summit is snowcapped most of the year. The ancient Greeks believed Olympus to be the home of Zeus and most other gods.
