Mount Washington
Mount Washington, mountain with the highest peak in northeastern United States. Part of the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, it has two peaks. The higher peak is 6,288 ft (1,917 m) above sea level and is located in northern New Hampshire. The other peak 2,624 ft (799 m) high, is in southwestern Massachusetts.
