Point Barrow

Barrow, Point, northernmost point on the North American continent, at the tip of Point Barrow Peninsula on the Arctic coast of Alaska, named for Sir John Barrow, 19th-century British geographer. The city of Barrow lies some 12 mi (19 km) south.
