Leonard Baskin

Baskin, Leonard (1922– ), U.S. graphic artist and sculptor. His work includes the prints Mid-Century Monster and The Poet Laureate and the sculpture Man with a Dead Bird. Since 1953 he has taught at Smith College, Mass., where he founded the Gehenna Press, noted for fine typography.
