Bearded collie

Bearded collie, breed of dog distinguished by a beardlike growth of hair around its mouth. Bred in Scotland as a sheep and cattle herder, the bearded collie is a popular farm pet. It stands 20–25 in (51–56 cm) tall and weighs about 60 lb (27 kg).
