Behaviorism



Behaviorism, school of psychology that studies behavior exclusively in terms of objective observations of reactions to environmental stimuli. Originating with Pavlov's animal experiments in conditioned reflexes, behaviorism in human psychology was introduced by J.B. Watson and championed by B.F. Skinner.
