Benzyl alcohol
Benzyl alcohol (also called phenylcarbinol C6H5CH2OH), colorless, aromatic alcohol found in the oils of many flowers. Ephedrine and adrenaline are derived from it. Benzyl alcohol is widely used in the perfume industry, in Pharmaceuticals, and as a solvent in cellulose lacquers.
