Bittern

Bittern, any of several species of migratory birds of the heron family. The U.S. bittern ranges from 2 to 3 ft (61 to 91 cm) tall. Its brownish color blends into marshland reeds, allowing it to feed upon its diet of fish, frogs, mice, and insects.
