Black Hills

Black Hills, mountain range in South Dakota and Wyoming, famous for the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Here, the heads of 4 past U.S. presidents are carved out of the mountainside. The Black Hills are rich in minerals, including gold. Their highest point is Harney Peak (7,242 ft/2,207 m).
