John Blair



Blair, John (1732–1800), U.S. jurist who served on the committee that drafted Virginia's constitution (1776). A delegate to the Constitutional Convention (1787), Blair sat on the general court and the first court of appeals and was an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (1789–96).
