B'nai B'rith

B'nai B'rith, Jewish service organization founded in New York in 1843. B'nai B'rith supports hospitals and orphanages and offers vocational guidance and disaster relief. Branch organizations include the Hillel Foundation, for Jewish university students and faculty; B'nai B'rith Youth; and the Anti-Defamation League (founded 1913) to combat discrimination.
