James Hepburn Bothwell h Earl of (4t)

Bothwell, James Hepburn, 4th Earl of (1536–78), Scottish nobleman who married Mary Queen of Scots in May 1567, after helping to murder her husband, Lord Darnley. In June he fled Scotland, and later died in a Danish prison.
