James Bryce t Viscount (1s)

Bryce, James, 1st Viscount (1838–1922), British politician and historian. A professor of law at Oxford, he wrote History of the Holy Roman Empire (1864) and The American Commonwealth (1888). He was British ambassador to the U.S. 1907–13.
