William F(rank) Buckley Jr.
Buckley, William F(rank), Jr. (1925– ), U.S. author, editor, and lecturer. He founded the weekly National Review (1955) to voice his often controversial conservative views. He ran unsuccessfully for mayor of New York City as a Conservative in 1965, and served as a UN delegate in 1973.
