Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin
Bunin, Ivan Alekseyevich (1870–1953), Russian novelist, short-story writer, and poet. He is best known for such short stories as The Gentleman from San Francisco (1916). He emigrated to France in 1919, and won the Nobel Prize in literature in 1933.
