Henri Cartier-Bresson

Cartier-Bresson, Henri (1908– ), international French documentary photographer who rose to fame with his coverage of the Spanish Civil War. He has published many photographic books, including The Decisive Moment (1952), China in Transition (1956), and Henri Cartier-Bresson, Photographer (1979), and has also made films.
